Vladimir Krasnov received the Ph.D. degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chernogolovka, Russia in 1995.
In 2004 he got a docent habilitation in Applied physics from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2005 he became a Professor in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics with focus on mesoscopic phenomena at the Department of Physics, Stockholm University, Sweden. Professor Krasnov’s research interests are related to superconductivity, high-frequency Josephson electronics and magnetism. He is the author of about 130 peer-reviewed scientific articles.
